WHO ARE WE?

Eating For Beauty is an extension of the much-respected ‘The Caring Clinic’, a clinic devoted to helping people be well, mostly people with a poor prognosis.

HOW DID EATING FOR BEAUTY START?

The origin of Eating For Beauty as a concept goes back to 1982 when the originator, Brian Hampton, was diagnosed with cancer.  At the time he had suffered with severe acne and psoriasis for 22 years, his hair was lank and his fingernails were bitten.  Within a few weeks of adopting, Optimum Nutrition to aid his health recovery he was spot free, his dry skin cleared and his fingernails grew.  Today he retains a very full head of hair with only the slightest hint of grey.  Then came a period of study, which included Applied Nutrition and Biochemistry with the Institute For Optimum Nutrition.

STEPPING STONES

In 1986 Brian Hampton, with his wife, launched The Caring Clinic in Sheffield. Since then Brian has helped at least 10,000 people to find a better quality of life, these were generally very ill people before they sought the advice of the clinic. As his clients/patients began to recover their health the signs associated with beauty also improved, i.e. better skin, hair and nails.

In 2005 to celebrate his 65th birthday he wrote a book called “The 90% Diet”. Brian had developed a concept that was consistently helping 90% of people he met 90% of the time. The book was designed to meet a wider audience and help more people to help themselves overcome or avoid illness.

Eating For Beauty is based on the 90% concept; it is a simple concept where persistence is valued, i.e. the longer you use the principles of the concept the “younger”, healthier and more beautiful you are likely to become.

LATER

Five to ten years from the launch of Eating For Beauty we expect to be able to demonstrate that following the 90% concept provides a great deal more than just another beauty regime. We expect that it has a profound and positive effect on your health. The very least we expect to show is that Type Two diabetes (previously called adult onset diabetes) is a preventable condition.
